Protein Pancakes Recipe

You will need:
1 scoop Whey Protein powder (any flavour of protein but vanilla will give a plain flavour)
Two eggs (remove the whites for a lower fat version)
100ml milk (skimmed for lower fat version)
Blueberries
Sliced Banana (optional)
Honey (optional)

To make these delicious protein pancakes blend the ingredients together to make a smooth batter and fry in small batches in a very hot non-stick pan.
Serve with blueberries or even add the blueberries in with your batter when frying for a softer fruit.
Serve with honey and sliced banana for extra taste.

This recipe contains approximately 37g of protein depending on the whey you use and around 10g of carbs.
Fat content depends on whether you use egg yolks, the whey you use and the milk you use, as well as the amount of fruit you use.
Blueberries were chosen for this recipe because not only do they taste fantastic but they are notorious for having great nutritional properties as well.
They are high in fibre, contain antioxidants and are packed with vitamin C. They also only contain about 80 calories per cup.
Blueberries also contain high amounts of manganese which plays an important role in converting the proteins, carbohydrates and fats in food into to energy, making blueberries a great accompaniment for your protein pancakes.

We hope you enjoy your protein pancakes, feel free to send us any other recipes you have and we will feature them on the website.
