Alright, we admit: pumpkin isn’t exactly in season at the moment. But hey, who cares – it’s a great flavour, and there’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy it all year round. Pumpkin and peanut butter sounds like it shouldn’t work as a combination, but trust us, it does! Nuts ‘N’ More have created this product with their incredible tasting Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter. Already earning rave reviews, this particular peanut butter is pretty much heaven in a jar. Nutritionally speaking this stuff is great, containing just 1g of saturated fat and a whopping 14g of protein per serving. What really sets it apart though is its taste and versatility. We’ve put together a recipe for you for some truly delicious Peanut Butter Fudge Protein Bites.
To really enhance the taste of the protein bites, we added a bit of ‘Snickerdoodle’ flavoured whey by Physique Enhancing Science – also available at Predator Nutrition. So now onto the recipe – nice and simple, just how we like it. Enjoy – these things taste ace!
- Protein Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter Fudge Bites
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 2 scoops Snickerdoodle Whey
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- Â¼ cup Pumpkin spice Nuts ‘N More
- Â½ tbsp honey
- Â½ tbsp almond milk
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice/cinnamon
In a bowl mix together the pumpkin puree, Nuts ‘N More, honey and almond milk. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave and mix with the other ingredients. Add the whey and pumpkin spice/cinnamon and mix well. Put the mixture into a silicone cupcake tray. Leave to set in the fridge for minimum 5 hours. This will make 10 fudge bites.
