I bet that caught your interest. As much as it is great to look good in the gym, we all know that a big reason why we train is to be more attractive to the opposite sex but what can we do to ensure we have a healthy sex life? When using supplements in conjunction with asking how to improve your sex life, there are a number of things you should take into account. Here is a quick rundown on ways to ensure we are not just looking good but performing when it counts!
.Do not take Ephedrine – Ephedrine will decrease blood flow which means decreased blood flow to all your body parts. Definitely not a good idea before sex. The same applies to Geranamine, Chocamine, Sida Cordifolia and virtually all stimulants which promote adrenaline/noradrenaline release. Stimulants are no good before bedtime, period.
.Yohimbe - The exception to the no stimulant rule would be Yohimbe/Yohimbine containing products which will actually assist you in this area by lowering production of adrenaline and noradrenaline. This increases blood flow to sexual organs which is a good thing. A yohimbe containing supplement taken one hour before action, acts as a natural alternative to prescription drugs such as Viagra.

.Eat Carbohydrates – Carbohydrates will lead to increased leptin release in the brain and insulin release in the body. Among other things these hormones will help to ensure increased blood flow, and heighten dopamine release (the body’s primary pleasure chemical), ultimately leading to a better sex life. Being on a low carbohydrate regime will, on the other hand, have a negative effect due to reduced production of nitric oxide (a major reason why your muscles are flatter on diets, low carbohydrate diets).
.Libido Enhancing Supplements – Although some can increase libido they should usually be avoided with the exception of Yohimbine containing supplements, as already noted. Instead, concentrate on supplements containing Divanil, Icariin, Horny Goat Weed, Maca, and ensure adeqauet amounts of Zinc in your diet. Good choices for increasing libido are Activate Xtreme, Anabol-5 and Vitrix.
.Don’t Train Too Hard – Overtraining will lead to an increased release in stress hormone production, acting not only reduce your ability to perform but taking away from your desire at the same time. If you are training to failure too often, spending too long in the gym, and not recovering sensibly you should try a break of at least a week which will help with improving your sex life.
.Avoid Steroids – Although anabolic steroids can increase desire (depending on which one is taken), they will all, without exception, cause a reduction in libido and performance once you cease taking them. If you are still going to take them, ensure you recover as fast as possible. In this case look at the recommendations in this post cycle treatment article.
.Don’t diet for too long – Excess dieting, or dieting to very lean levels will cause a fall in leptin, a key signalling hormone, which will tell the body to lower its production of testosterone reducing libido significantly, as well as increasing cortisol, which will make performance difficult as well. Keeping dieting periods relatively short is certainly one of the sure fire ways to improve your sex life.
