Cynostane: The Perfect Prohormone

Introduction
I'm new to prohormones and I have been researching the "perfect" first time cycle...something all potential PH users will do, and something all PH users have done in the past. After reviewing the advice available on forums and getting some much appreciated advice from Reggie, I reached the conclusion that Cynostane by Anabolic Innovations is up there as the top candidate for the ideal first PH. So I have decided to post this discussion as a reference for people looking for a PH ideal to first time users, as the information out there can be very contradictory and therefore confusing!!

Cynostane The Product
Cynostane is a relatively new prohormone which features an alteration of the Superdrol compound, with a cyano bond instead of the 2a methyl superdrol bond.
Effects
Cynostane is an anabolic compound with remarkably low androgenic action, making it qualitatively similar to the likes of Oxandrolone (Anavar) or Methenolone (Primobolan). It is non-aromatizing meaning it will not produce estrogen mediated side effects and its high degree of anabolic action makes it a favourable choice for athletes concerned with losing bodyfat while maintaining, or increasing, muscle mass.
Feedback to date has suggested that impressive, yet gradual, gains are made in strength and mass indicating the action of a compound with an extremely high anabolic to androgenic ratio.
Side Effects
Bloodwork conducted by users shows that Cynostane has a more favourable effect on blood lipids, and liver values than superdrol itself, as well as other prohormones currently out on the market. The combination of low androgenic action, lack of aromatization to estrogen, and very low level of general health effects, makes cynostane a compound producing very little, if any, side effects in comparison to other prohormones.
On-Cycle
The dosage which seems to have hit the sweet spot with most users is 30mg (3 caps) each day, spaced out with meals, and not too close (4hrs or so) to bed time. Consuming with meals with some fats is recommended to aid absorption. A product such as Anabolic Innovations Cycle Support, or Competitive Edge Labs Cycle Assist, is recommended during the cycle to combat any negative health effects that come along with prohormone use.
The use of any ergogenic aids such as creatine or pre-workout supplements isn't necessary during the cycle, as their effects will be dwarfed by the actions of the Cynostane. These supplements should be saved for boosting training during Post Cycle Therapy (PCT).
Post Cycle Therapy
Despite Cynostane being a mild prohormone, post cycle therpay is recommended. An issue with many first time prohormone users is potential side effects. For this reason I am going to outline a PCT that will cover all angles. However, it should be noted that due to the fact Cynostane will not be as suppressive as other prohormones, running Reversitol as a standalone PCT should suffice for the majority. To cover all angles however, Driven Sports Lean Xtreme is a fantastic PCT product as it modulates cortisol post cycle to prevent muscle loss, avoid fat gain, and also has a test boosting effect via the presence of he nutrient forskolin.
During the post cycle stage it is an ideal time to start a cycle of creatine and also make use of essential amino acid products such as Xtend by Scivation.
Diet
During a Cynostane cycle it is ESSENTIAL to get the (clean) calories in! The usual level of protein intake for athletes in training is 2g/kg of bodyweight. This should be doubled to 4g/kg bodyweight. Do not be afraid of carbs, although you should be sensible...the same goes for fats. I personally recommend a casein shake, or some cottage cheese, pre bed to help prevent the body from entering a catabolic (anti muscle building) state. An additional 500kcals per day would be roughly on the money. During PCT this should be brought back down to a maintenance level.
Training
One thing people often do not consider when using PHs is how to structure their training, and they tend to just continue with what they are doing. I like the idea of starting a PH cycle at the end of a strength phase. This is because it is ideal to train with lighter weights and higher reps (8-12) during a PH cycle. This will allow you to take advantage of the strength gains made from the strength phase and increase the total volume of training in the hypertrophy phase (on cycle), as loads will be higher. As recovery rates will increase during the cycle, a 4/5 day split will be acceptable. And unless your body is telling you otherwise, it will be okay to train a body part twice a week. During PCT the loads need to increase and the reps need to come down. Some strength loss is common after a cycle. By decreasing the reps the load will never be less than what it was during the cycle. This will help prevent strength/muscle loss. This is one of the most overlooked ways to maintain muscle gains during the post cycle process.
Stacking Options
Cynostane is a highly versatile prohormone on account of its extremely low level of side effects. It can be combined with virtually any other compound but favoured choices tend to be:
Delta 2 - For lean gains, plus a little extra mass without any perceptible increase in sides. The fact it is non-methylated makes it a good choice.
Tren/1-T Tren - This is a great mass builder and as a strong androgen will work very effectively to generate increased strength and mass when used with Cynostane. As another non-methylated prohormone this makes for a great boost in size without causing undue liver stress.
Conclusion
Cynostane is a product highly recommended by those who have used it. Its impressive gains in lean mass/strength combined with the minimal suppression and sides, has made this a very popular choice for first time and experienced users alike.
The bottom line, however, is this...
There is no such thing as a magic pill...for those who see articles like this and think they have found a get big quick solution, I give this advice...
The potential for natural gains in everyone is huge...but you must nail these three factors of athletic development:
TRAINING - DIET - REST
...only once these three components are in check do supplements and prohormones become worthy aids to training.
I hope this article helps a few newcomers (and maybe some old heads!) to the rapidly developing world of Prohormones.
