Predator Nutrition Genoflex Review

Genoflex by PEScience provides a comprehensive joint support supplement. It contains three core ingredients to ensure your joints are well looked after and reduce any joint pain. The three main ingredients include Cissus Quadrangularis, passion fruit and Boswellia serrata. Users can expect to see a reduction in any joint pain their experiencing and an increase in movement and mobility around the joint when supplementing with Genoflex.

Cissus Quadrangularis

This is a perennial plant of the grape family and is becoming the preferred choice for joint pain management over ingredients such as msm or glucosamine due to the increasing research on its effects. Its long been used in Ayurveda medicine and its role in ameliorating joint pain is well researched. One study found it to significantly reduce joint pain over an eight-week period among 29 trained males with a daily dose of 3200mg. Another study researched its effects on osteoporosis and found it to provide anti-inflammation properties due to working through the following mechanisms: it works as an antagonist to the glucocorticoid receptor to promote good bone health, displays anabolic properties for healing of fractures, it increases intramuscular creatinine levels, it blocks cortisol and helps the formation of new muscle, shows significant inhibition of DPPH free radical formation, superoxide radical production and lipid peroxide production in erythrocytes and it mobilizes fibroblast and chondroblasts to an injured tissue and enhances regeneration.

Passion fruit extract

This is a flavonoid-rich dietary supplement that also provides comfort from joint pain. One study found it to reduce pain and stiffness by between 18-20% after 60 days of taking 150mg of this ingredient. The study concluded that passion fruit extract substantially alleviated osteoarthritis symptoms by providing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Rather than using a inadequate dose, PEScience must have been aware of this study as this ingredient in Genoflex contains exactly 150mg.

Boswellia serrata

This tree is commonly found in India, Northern Africa and the Middle East. It’s specifically the gum that derives from it that has the ability to inhibit inflammatory cytokines and modulate antioxidant status. It’s protective effects occur due to its role in mediating the modulation of the immune system. One study found it to decrease knee pain, increase knee flexion and increase walking distance among 30 participants with osteoarthritis of the knee.
