Predator Kitchen: Protein Pow Peanut Butter Protein Bars Recipe
Recently we showed you how to make some tasty almond and coffee protein bars using the new Protein Pow protein powder cooking mix, which got us wondering – would it work with peanut butter? Well, we had a go, and the answer is a resounding yes! We used the Protein Pow cooking mix again but this time added some of P28’s excellent high protein peanut butter. The result is a protein bar that tastes absolutely delicious – really, we’re proud of this one!
Peanut Butter & Coffee Protein Bars
In a bowl, mix all ingredients together using first a spoon and then your hands until you get a dough that you can shape with your hands into either bars or truffles. If your batter is proving too crumbly, add a tiny bit more of the coffee. Shape your dough into either 4 truffles or two bars.
Refrigerate and eat later, or enjoy them immediately!
If you want a really tasty treat, you could try dunking them in melted dark chocolate. It’ll add a lot of sugar but it makes for a truly delicious coating!
