7-hydroxy DHEA

7-hydroxy DHEA is a major metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) that is formed in the prostate gland and in the liver. 7-OH-DHEA was first isolated and identified back in the 1960s, and since then has increased information on its metabolism, imunomodulatory cativity, cell proliferation, cortisol control and anti-aging effects. DHEA is the fundamental material used to produce all your steroid hormones in the body including testosterone and estrogen. 7-Hydroxy does not metabolise into the sex hormones , which allows the ingredient to have the same benefits of DHEA without the side effects. Studies have shown that DHEA appears to be effective in persons over 40 at a dose of 25-50mg with prolonged use. Blackstone Labs have added 25mg of 7-hydroxy-DHEA to the formula to help improve metabolism.

Epiandrosterone

Epi first got discovered back in the 1930s and once you start taking Epi, it’ll convert to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). in the body. It is known that DHT is 5x more androgenic than testosterone itself. Testosterone is falsely thought of as the hormone that causes the increased androgenic effects – whereas this isn’t totally true. Testosterone is an anabolic hormone, DHT will provide you with the androgenic effects – namely muscle building. Epiandrosterone will help to increase lean mass and give muscle hardening effects. What’s more, epi isn’t methylated so won’t affect your liver.
