Grenade : Carb Killa Protein Spread Hazel Nutter Grenade

Following the success of the best tasting protein bar ever, Carb Killa protein bar, Grenade have launched the highly anticipated Carb Killa Chocolate Spread. Coming in three different flavours they provide the most delicious protein that’s going to be hard to top. The Chocolate Hazel Nutter spread is not as good as the Carb Killa White Chocolate Cookie flavour and we would recommend Predator Nutrition’s Magic Chocolate to be superior in taste and nutrition if you are wanting a chocolate hazelnut spread.

Flavour

We feel the Carb Killa Hazel Nutter Chocolate Spread is definitely the one for you out of the three Carb Killa Spread flavours if you love your nutty tastes due to the real hazelnut pieces contained within the spread. The taste is out of this world and it makes other protein chocolate spreads look pale in comparison. The hazelnut provides a nice balance to the sweetness of the chocolate and they complement each other brilliantly. The texture is smooth despite the hazelnut pieces and easy to consume. Just when we were thinking how are Grenade going to top the flavour on the Carb Killa Bars they’ve gone all out and stepped it up when formulating their new chocolate hazel nutter spread. It’s hard to see how they can top the taste with any future products, but we’re sure they’ll find a way. The taste is so good on the spread that it can be used to spread on your favourite foods or eaten straight from the jar!

Nutrition

The nutritional content is the same for all three flavours. There’s a generous 7g of whey protein concentrate per 33g serving and only 170 calories. The other important macros are that there is 12g of carbohydrates per serving- with only 2g of sugar- and 13g of fat with only 3g of saturated fat. There is also 90% less sugar in the Carb Killa Spread compared to regular chocolate spreads on the market so it is the perfect combination of providing excellent taste with superior macronutrient content. We recommend spreading this on products such as P28 High Protein Bagels or Dr Zaks Protein Bread to really provide a high protein snack.
