Product Guide

Why

Pre-Kaged takes as its inspiration both the name and formula of Pre-Jym but aims to go one step better. If you are looking for a preworkout which is full of ergogenics, at doses shown to improve performance and recovery then Pre-Kaged is a good option. On the other hand, if your primary concern is enhanced strength and power in a hurry, then we think a Hydrazine or Frenzy will beat both!

When

Pre-Kaged should be taken before workouts only and it can be used whether you are bulking or dieting as its 15 calories are only a trivial amount. However, the near 300mg of caffeine per serving means you may wish to avoid taking it too close to your bedtime.

Who

Pre-Kaged is best suited to those not wanting something overly stimulating but which instead uses clinically dosed ingredients shown to boost strength, endurance, pumps and improve recovery. It is probably best suited to those who train predominantly for size as opposed to someone whose focus is strength.

Predator Nutrition Pre-Kaged Review

One of the hottest brands in the sports nutrition world is Kaged Muscle, British star Kris Gethin's own line of supplements. Without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest name in the Kaged Muscle line-up is their preworkout Pre-Kaged.

Pre-Kaged Pre-Workout Designed to Beat Pre-Jym

When analysing Pre-Kaged it is important to remember that it was launched after the success of Pre-Jym, another popular preworkout and Kris Gethin has clearly formulated Pre-Kaged with a view to improving on the formula of Pre-Jym. We say this because their labels are VERY similar with many ingredients common to both products with only the amounts included changing.

Pre-Kaged Versus Pre-Jym

In comparing these two products, if you ignore the taste for a moment, then you cargue that Pre-Kaged is better because it contains more citrulline than Pre-Jym (6.5g of pure citrulline versus the 6g of citrulline malate in Jym which equates to just 3g of citrulline), as well as more taurine and betaine, two other ingredients that help fuel performance.

On the other hand, Pre-Jym has a higher dose of bcaa's, more beta-alanine, as well as a stronger stimulant kick.

Unfortunately, while we would love to say one is better than the other the truth is they are so similar that there is a negligible difference between the two and you can make a case for either of them.

Pre-Kaged Versus Other Popular Preworkouts

Ignoring Pre-Jym, Pre-Kaged Pre-Workout is more than a match for most preworkouts thanks to its comprehensive ingredient list and open, fully transparent label which breaks down the exact amount of each ingredient so you know exactly what you are getting. The only preworkouts where we feel Pre-Kaged would be overmatched are those whose success is based around dominating amounts of energy such as the various Driven Sports and Hydrapharm preworkouts.

As was already noted when comparing to Pre-Jym, Pre-Kaged is not the strongest from a stimulant perspective which while it means it helps boost the pumps you get from it (stimulants acting as vasoconstrictors), it does mean it might not be the ideal choice for those seeking super intense, balls to the wall training sessions.

One of the Best

I am definitely a fan of both pre-jym and pre kaged. Neither gave me bad come downs both gave me a good energy And focus. It’s down to preference but I actually though pre kaged tasted better. Tried many pre work outs and always go back to pre kaged or pre jym.

Pre Kaged

Best pre-workout ever.. and I have tried a lot!!!

Pre-Kaged my new go to

I have tried all sorts when it comes to pre-workouts, a high stim junkie is what I would have referred to my self as. Now a little older and a little wiser I know now I should care about what goes into my body. Pre-Kaged has a whacking great scoop at 29.4 grams packed full of goodies to get you focused, pumped, working as hard as you can and on the back foot to repair. The taste is pretty good, I am using the apple at the moment. It has a little "zing" or sharpness to it which I like and mixes really well in a shaker with 400ml of water. I take this 30min before my workout and on the drive to the gym I start to feel the warm tingle that you associate with pre-workouts. Now it's not as strong a feeling as others but I like it as a good indicator that it's in my system. I was worried about the caffeine content at first as I also stack it with the In-Kaged but the pure Caff ingredient I think provides such a clean energy feel with no crash after. I really love this product and has worked wonders over the last month to help push it harder and longer in the gym.

Good Pre Jym alterantive

Pre-Kaged is probably the best alternative to Pre Jym out there. It has a somewhat acquired taste but works really well.
