Quest Protein Powder Nutritional Breakdown

Each protein powder is gluten free, soy free and has no added sugar, so is great for those on a calorie restricted diet.

Whey Isolate

Whey protein isolate is the most pure form of protein(90% or more) and contains little to no fat, lactose or cholesterol.  Whey isolate is digested much quicker than other forms of protein (with the exception of hydrolysed) and therefore is excellent as a post workout shake to help repair the muscle cells. On a gram for gram basis, Whey Isolate provides more essential amino acids to the body compared to other proteins, without the fat or cholesterol.

Micellar Casein

Like whey protein, micellar casein is derived from milk.  The difference between the two is casein keeps the amino acid levels higher for up to seven hours, preventing muscle wastage after intense workouts but is primarily used before bed due to the amount of sleep we need.  Micellar casein is also high in glutamine and so helps with protein absorption into the muscle cells.

Milk Protein Isolate

Milk protein isolate consists of at least 90% protein with less than 3% fat, very little carbohydrates and pretty much no lactose.  It is a great way to boost protein content and keep the quality of the powder up with the best of them.

If you loved the Quest Bars, give the Quest Protein Powder a try for optimal recovery.

Nice tasting protein

The Quest whey is very nice and light in flavour. It's easily mixed for a quick protein hit.

Nice Whey protein

Nice tasting Whey, quite expensive for the amount you get.

Amazing but pricey

Chocolate and vanilla are amazing. Strawberry tastes too artificial for my liking. Shame it's so expensive - trutein is a slightly cheaper alternative that I think is almost as tasty.

Great post-workout snack or meal

I love drinking Quest protein after a workout. It tastes great blended with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. It's very filling and holds me until my next meal.

Tastes great and nutritionally strong

Great tasting protein i could drink all day (if it wasn't so extortionately expensive). Got a load of free samples at bodypower this year and i have to say the best flavour has to be salted caramel (which sadly isn't currently sold here) or chocolate milkshake. If you have money to spare and want a high quality great tasting shake this is the one! Shame its price per kilo is on the steep side in comparison to may on the market but i guess you get what you pay for.

Quest nutrition protein powder

This is a great tasting protein powder when mixed with water, almond milk or in oats! it mixes easily and is also very good to bake with! I always buy vanilla or peanut butter, they are my favourites!
